Privacy Policy

Sajel ("we", "us") provides a mobile application that gives construction projects a shared, tamper-evident record between project owners, consultants, and contractors. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email address (or Apple's private relay address if you choose to hide your email). Consultant and contractor organizations register with a company email and may provide a company name and registration details.
• Project content you provide. Change requests, comments, cost and time entries, selections, drawings, photos, and documents you upload to a project.
• Technical data. Device type, app version, and diagnostic logs needed to operate the service and fix problems. Push notification tokens if you enable notifications.

How we use it

• To provide the service: storing project records, showing them to the project members authorized to see them, and sending notifications when an item requires your action.
• To maintain the integrity of records: actions taken in a project (approvals, submissions, comments) are retained as part of that project's permanent record — this is the core function of the product.
• To secure and improve the service.

We do not sell personal data. We do not show advertising.

Who can see your project content

Project content is visible only to members of that project, according to their role. Actions are attributed at company level to other parties; which individual within an organization acted is visible only to that organization's administrator.

Storage and processing

Data is stored with our cloud infrastructure providers and processed to operate the service. We apply industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit. Records you or other project members create may be retained for the life of the project and thereafter as required for legitimate record-keeping purposes or by law.

Your choices and rights

• You may access and update your account information in the app.
• You may request deletion of your account by contacting us. Note that project records containing actions attributed to your organization may be retained in anonymized or company-attributed form to preserve the integrity of other members' records, and as permitted by applicable law, including UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.
• You may disable push notifications in your device settings at any time.

Children

Sajel is not directed at children and may not be used by anyone under 18.

Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the effective date above.
